My Experience

I’ve been a musician and producer for over 13 years. Earlier in my career, I worked in the automotive industry in the late 2000s — a completely different world.

At some point, I realized I enjoyed exploring technology and writing about it far more than constantly being on standby and dealing with breakdowns. Honestly, it became pretty boring over time.

I grew up playing and recording music on keyboards and guitar, and I’ve never really stopped. For a while now, I’ve continued doing mixing and mastering for various independent artists — many of them close friends. And every now and then, I still like to tinker with automotive stuff… but only my own projects these days. 🙂

Areas of Expertise

Music Production & Arrangement, Mixing & Basic Mastering, Sound Design (Synths & Sampling), Plugin Testing & Software Reviews, Workflow Optimization in DAWs, VST Instruments & Effects Analysis

The Technology I Use

My workflow is built around a set of tools I’ve actually used for years in real projects. I don’t stick to just one DAW — I regularly work with FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, and Pro Tools, depending on what the project actually needs.

For sound design, I tend to rotate between tools like Serum, Omnisphere, and Kontakt. Each one has its own strengths, and over time I’ve learned when to reach for which — whether I’m building something from scratch or working with sampled material.

When it comes to mixing, I rely a lot on plugins from FabFilter, iZotope, and Waves. Not because they’re popular, but because I know how they behave in real sessions, especially when things start getting complex.

I also experiment with newer tools, including AI-assisted plugins and modern editing solutions, but only if they actually help speed things up without sacrificing control.

On the hardware side, I keep things pretty straightforward — a reliable audio interface, accurate monitors, a MIDI controller, and a good pair of reference headphones. Nothing fancy, just tools I trust.

In the end, I just want to spend more time making music and less time dealing with the technical side of things.
