My Experience

I’m 23, based in Bandung, and I spend an unhealthy amount of time testing apps that promise to “change your life” — spoiler: most of them don’t.

I care about one thing: does it actually work, or is it just another overhyped tool with too many buttons and zero logic?

If it’s confusing, I’m calling it out. If it’s good, I’m keeping it. If it wastes my time… yeah, you’ll hear about it.

Basically, I test things so you don’t download something, regret it 5 minutes later, and question your life choices.

The Technology I Use

My setup is basically a mix of whatever actually works and whatever doesn’t make me lose my patience.

I spend a lot of time on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube — not just scrolling, but actually paying attention to what’s trending, what people are using, and what’s just hype for no reason. Sometimes you find gold, sometimes it’s just noise.

For editing, I stick with CapCut and other mobile apps most of the time. It’s quick, it’s simple, and I don’t have to open five tabs just to export one video. If a tool makes things harder than it should be, I’m out.

When I need more control, I jump into FL Studio or Ableton Live. I’m not trying to use every feature — just the ones that actually help me finish what I started without getting stuck.

I also test a lot of AI tools. Some are actually useful and save time, others feel like they’re just there to look impressive. If it doesn’t make my life easier, I’m not using it twice.

Most of my workflow moves between my phone and laptop (Windows or macOS, depends on the day). It’s not perfect, but honestly, it’s way more realistic than those “perfect setup” videos.

At the end of the day, I just want tools that make sense, work fast, and don’t make me question my life choices halfway through.
