My Experience
I’ve been messing around with software and digital audio for over 15 years. Some tools clicked instantly, others had me staring at the screen like, “wait… what does this button even do?”
I’m not really into long, complicated explanations. I prefer jumping in, testing things myself — sometimes breaking stuff, sometimes finding easier ways to make things work.
Here, I just share honest, real-world experiences so you don’t have to go through the same confusion I did when trying new software.

The Technology I Use
If there’s one thing I’ve learned after 15+ years, it’s this: no single tool does everything perfectly — and that’s totally fine.
I don’t stick to just one DAW. Some days I’m in FL Studio, other days I switch to Ableton Live or Cubase, depending on what I need. I’ve also spent time with Logic Pro and Pro Tools, but honestly, I just go with whatever gets the job done without making me overthink things.
For sound design, I usually rotate between Serum, Omnisphere, and Kontakt. Sometimes I want to tweak every little detail, sometimes I just scroll presets and hope something magically fits (and yeah, sometimes it actually does).
When it comes to mixing, I rely a lot on plugins from FabFilter, iZotope, and Waves. Not because they’re “the best,” but because I already know how they behave — especially when a project starts getting messy, which… happens quite often.
I still like trying new tools, including AI-based plugins. Some of them genuinely help speed things up, others just give me more buttons to ignore. But I’m always curious enough to try.
As for hardware, I keep it simple: a solid audio interface, decent monitors, a MIDI controller, and a pair of headphones I trust. Nothing fancy — I’ve learned the hard way that expensive gear doesn’t automatically make things sound better.
At the end of the day, I’m just trying to make things work without turning it into a technical headache.
